Aryanda Ondrio was born in Indonesia, April 2, 1993. His passion in writing and science led his to publish his debut science project about the global warming and biodiversity, when he was 16 years old. In the same year, Arya became the youngest winner of Young Ambassador For Education, Sport and Teenagers (Remaja CERIA) Jakarta, Indonesia. In order to conserve his passion in broadcasting, he work as a freelancer for P2SC radio in Jakarta and MC-Anchor/Host in several events at school, private and public events. His interest in volunteering to help the ‘needy kids’ and 'hunger' in the world, brought him to taking part in the volunteering and promoting of 92Y annual event, produced by 92Y Teen Center New York. His mission is try to educate the poor and the other half is to educate the world about the poor, brought him to join in International Humanity Foundation (IHF), as an associate volunteer. IHF is a social foundation that has been working in Kenya, Thailand and Indonesia.
Arya has long –standing ties with the Science group, dating back to 2005. When he involved in Science group at Batam No.3 Middle School. That work expended over a couple years. During which time, in 2008, as Public Relation of Polaris Astronomy Club. In 2009, he served as a young ambassador for Jakarta No. 38 High School. Earlier in 2010, Arya was appointed to represent Indonesia in the SeameoSYS Olympiad (Southeast Asian ministers of education organization search young scientist). He finally got bronze medal in science category through in special award for most innovative and creative young scientist. SSYS is a southeast Asia network of young scientist Olympiad based in Penang, Malaysia. His involvement in this network brought him to several international events, including INESPO (International Environment and Science project Olympiad) Amsterdam, Netherland 2010. Where he was given the opportunity to present his science project about the global warming issues. In 2011, Arya was appointed to represent the United States in I-SWEEEP (International Sustainable World 'Engineering, Energy and Environment' Science Project) Olympiad in Houston, Texas and has been compete with other young scientist from 70 Countries.
Arya has also been actively involved in issues relating to Asian, Middle East- Europe, America relations (where he focused in political-social and environmental science issues). He Involved in Model United Nations Club at Darien High School. His interest in global issues brought him to taking part as a speaker and delegation in the 12th Annual Global Classroom International high school Model United Nations Conference (GCIMUN 2011) at UN Headquarters New York, USA. As a Member of General Assembly first, he facilitated-forming a coalition to the prompt adoption of the resolution of the session, condemning the terrorist attack, against nuclear weapons used offensively and supporting disarmament.
In 2012, he founded Indonesian MUN Society (IMS), a youth led non profit organization-non government organization. IMS is a place for those youth who have interest and awareness in International Issue and facilitated to join MUN Conferences overseas and build a network with MUN Society in all over the world. In Indonesian MUN Society, he led numerous programs in Community service, Conferences, Talks show and etc.
Arya was invited as a guest speaker in ‘explore the potential of young scientist’ Conference with Prof. DR (HC). Ing. Dr. Sc. Mult. Bachruddin Jusuf Habibie (former president of Indonesia) and Prof. Yohanes Surya, Ph.D at IPB National Science Fair, Indonesia 2010. In the same year, he was selected as one of the students who represent Indonesia to USA in the YES kennedy-lugar, official program by U.S Dept of State. Earlier in 2012, Arya was appointed to be the Cluster Coordinator for IYAA (Indonesian YES Alumni Association) Jakarta. Arya is currently studying Communication Sciences at the Universitas Indonesia. He loves reading, watching films, travelling, hiking, futsal and broadcasting.
